Martin Manning

Martin Manning is a Director of Ove Arup & Partners. He joined Ove Arup & Partners in 1968 on graduation and was appointed a Director of Arup in 1983.

His first airport project was the new terminal at Stansted Airport. In terms of flexibility, clarity and economy this scheme has been the precursor of a number of significant airport projects, perhaps most notably the new Terminal at Beijing Capital International Airport for the 2008 Olympic Games. For this latter project he was the Design Director for the whole multidisciplinary Engineering Team.

Between these two projects he worked on a number of significant projects across the world. Since then he has been a Consultant on the engineering design of the new Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
