Paul Miller is an agricultural engineer who has spent most of his career in research and development. He was Director of Technology at the Silsoe Research Institute up until its closure in 2005 and is now a director of a small company (Silsoe Spray Applications Unit Ltd) that has roots back to Silsoe Research Institute. His particular area of research is on the application of agricultural chemicals (both fertilisers and plant protection products) and the improved targeting of such chemicals, reducing non-target exposures. He is an internationally recognised expert in his technical specialisation and has been involved with activities across the world.
Paul Miller was technical secretary to The Douglas Bomford Trust (a charitable Trust concerned with all aspects of agricultural engineering) in the period 2010 to 2017 and is now a trustee of it.
